ABOUT ME

My names Sophie and I love my camera (probably more than my husband loves his van).

My Dad has been a huge influence in my love for photography from a young age. He would always move on holiday with his Kiev 4 and multi lens camera bag. I have vivid memories of checking the 35mm film camera aisles as a kid, with the anticipation I may get a new camera or upgrade for Xmas.

After a backpacking trip to Paris, capturing life in hidden parts of the city, followed by safari's in Africa, exploring different lenses and scanning the environment for an early morning glimpse of a leopard, hyena or lion, I was hooked.

I've been shooting professionally for over 10 years and love working with clients to bring a business, product, people and culture to life. I enjoy the task of being asked if I can make a shipping container look 'pretty' or work with a brief to capture the culture and people within an organisation.

 

My aim is to always understand the needs and brief of the client. To produce a portfolio of high quality images and to always make sure the people involved have fun, are relaxed and enjoy the shoot.
